¡Hola! My name is Elena, I'm a 24-year-old qualified teacher based on Sevilla, Andalucía. I have been teaching online for more than three years, with more than 1300 hours of lessons completed.  

I believe that online education is the future of learning, that's why I have a Master's degree in Education, Language teaching and Innovation. I am also qualified by Cambridge University as a language tutor in both Spanish and English.  

In these 3 years I have learnt a lot from my students. Every student is different, what may work for some may not work for others, so I try to get to know my students' likes and interests. The more we progress, the better I can analyse what your strengths are, and therefore adapt the lessons to your specific needs.

I use many different techniques and resources: from presentations created by me, to video lessons, interactive quizzes, homework, etc. All my students have access to a shared Drive folder where you can find resources, contents and materials, so you can revise and progress as you wish.

As for me, I've been complimented on my patience and how I always have a smile on my face.

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a communicative approach that incorporates grammar in a laid-back and dynamic way. I hand pick all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like music, videos and social media to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel confortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

 I have studied several languages including French, German, English and Italian. My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

Mi nombre es Nuria, soy Licenciada en Filología hispánica y tengo un máster como experta en educación. He trabajado de manera autónoma y en varias academias de la Costa del Sol.

Me gusta preparar mis clases orientadas a las necesidades de cada estudiante y conseguir juntos los objetivos. Puedo mantener una conversación en inglés o resolver alguna duda, pero prefiero que la clase sea siempre en español para que mis alumnos pierdan el miedo a expresarse.

I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. My name is Amaya and I am a very passionate Spanish teacher.

I have a postgraduate in Spanish teaching as a foreign language by the University of Barcelona, also I am a DELE examiner and I have as well the Spanish teaching certificate to teach in secondary school. I teach also Spanish for specific purposes like business and I have experience training new Spanish teachers. My level of English is very good and I am very successful in my work which I feel very passionate for.

I work as a face to face and online teacher, I teach all levels, all ages, all nationalities. I have worked for important companies and organizations like NATO, Energizer, Instituto de Empresa etc. I have very good referees and I am very successful because I use a communicative method, I am very innovative, and adapt the class to the student’s needs and interests. I offer conversation practice and structured courses, from absolute beginner to C1, grammar drills and homework if you wish. Wide experience with adults and senior students. I will provide you with notes and examples from our lessons, during the lesson in Google Docs, or after the lesson, via e-mail. You don't need to decide in advance if you prefer Latin American Spanish or European Spanish, I can teach you the main differences and help you decide. 

In our first lesson or trial we will figure out how your learning plan will be, depending on your individual needs, learning style and goals. If it's your first online lesson, there's no need to stress, I'm very understanding and patient.
