My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

- I have 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language in a secondary school and a private company in Italy and another year of teaching experience in two Secondary schools in England. I also have 3 years of experience teaching adults in online platforms (+1300 hours taught).

I`ve been teaching languages for five years now and I`ve recently started teaching Spanish, my mother tongue.  

Every class is planned in advance and taking into account the student needs. When the class is finished, I always save a copy of what we`ve gone over, therefore the next class is even better and the material even more accurate and entertaining. I use a wide variety of resources, ranging from the most renowned text books, online exercises, or grammar resources to articles, news, or media in general.  

Whether it`s just for leisure or business, I hope I can help you achieve your goals related to this beautiful language.

I think It`s worth mentioning here a little bit of my background because it adds up to the whole experience. I`ve been surrounded by languages, different cultures and literature since I was a child. I`ve studied languages at school but also on my own for a long time. I was born and raised in Argentina but have lived in Spain for two years. I also love travelling. I worked for the tourism industry for several years before becoming a teacher. I love learning and talking about almost anything, so I even know some medical terms just to give an example of how much I love words and communication. My name is Franco Del Gesso, I am Argentinian and passionate about psychology along with education since I think it is the fundamental tool for progress, that is why I love teaching and conducting research to find how to help the development of education from psychology, I am a very sociable and dynamic person, in constant movement.

I consider myself a cheerful teacher who has the ability to adapt to the needs of each student. I am very sociable and I have the ability to start conversations very easily. I like having more than one method to teach this language either through speech, writing, images, videos and even music. Me considero un profesor alegre que tiene la capacidad de adaptarse a las necesidades de cada alumno. 

Soy muy sociable y tengo la capacidad de entablar conversaciones muy fácilmente. Me gusta tener más de un método para enseñar este idioma ya sea mediante el habla, la escritura, las imágenes, los videos y hasta la música.

At first I consider it important to hear what the apprentice is looking for and based on that, choose how the next lesson are going to take place. However I tend to make my lessons dynamic, interspersing conversations and various exercises including grammar, music and even books. I have a blackboard available to use if necessary and also headphones with a microphone to improve the audio quality.
