My name is Javi, I am from Seville, from the south of Spain. I am a Spanish teacher with more than 3 year of experience in teaching Spanish online.  

I am a certified teacher that always keeps doing new kind of courses on language teaching in order to keep updated and achieve the best results in my classes. Besides, I have studied Translation and Interpreting, I can speak fluently 4 languages. Therefore, I am an experienced language learner who knows how languages work. This lets me put myself in my students' shoes. I can give you tips on how learning properly a foreign language and how to take advantage of the new technologies in order to do so.

In my classes, I try not to overfocus on teaching grammar or lists of vocabulary,  but giving priority to the communication skills such as listening and speaking, considering that we remember better what we say than what we read. In addition, from my point of view it is important to know where the interests of my students lie, since I will try to focus my lessons on what you are keen on and on what you are looking for. This way the classes will not be boring for either of us as well as it will make easier your learning.

My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

I will help you to learn Spanish for you to achieve your specific goals taking into account your needs, your level and your learning process. Our lessons will include videos, everyday Spanish conversations, slides and more. We will also have cultural activities such as gastronomy, music and tourism. The four skills to learn a foreign language will be included as well: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and you will also have the grammar so that you can understand the language and produce it.

At first I consider it important to hear what the apprentice is looking for and based on that, choose how the next lesson are going to take place. However I tend to make my lessons dynamic, interspersing conversations and various exercises including grammar, music and even books. I have a blackboard available to use if necessary and also headphones with a microphone to improve the audio quality.
