Hello! I am Monica and I am a certified Spanish teacher with more than 7 years experience teaching Spanish to people from all over the world.

I have many hours of teaching experience, as from 2016 to 2019 I worked in a Spanish academy in my home city, Medellín, where I worked 40 hours per week teaching Spanish as a foreign language; I had 1-to-1 sessions and also groups of up to 6 students; the classes were amazing and I loved the experience since I could meet people from a range of cultures, thanks to that I realized that there are extraordinary people from every corner of the world.

Since 2019 I have been working as an online Spanish teacher and now I am living in the UK, doing a master's degree in international education and dedicating free time to my favourite hobbies: Cooking, salsa dancing and swimming.

My lessons are planned to be enjoyable and comfortable. I`ve been teaching languages for five years now and I`ve recently started teaching Spanish, my mother tongue.

I think It`s worth mentioning here a little bit of my background because it adds up to the whole experience. I`ve been surrounded by languages, different cultures and literature since I was a child. I`ve studied languages at school but also on my own for a long time. I was born and raised in Argentina but have lived in Spain for two years. I also love travelling. I worked for the tourism industry for several years before becoming a teacher. I love learning and talking about almost anything, so I even know some medical terms just to give an example of how much I love words and communication. My name is Esther and I live in Changwon, a beautiful city in the south of South Korea. I came to Asia to work in the 3D graphic design industry but end up falling in love with teaching languages and culture. To become a good teacher and help my students I got a Spanish Philology undergraduate degree, a master’s degree in ELE (teaching Spanish as a second language) and became a certified DELE examiner.
