Hello! I am Blanca, a Mexican teacher with a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books.  

I love reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I have lived abroad and I know what it's like to be in your shoes when it comes to learning a new language because I'm a language learner myself.

I became a Spanish teacher because I found a passion for teaching and helping people improve their language skills. I've taught Spanish to businessmen, engineers, university students, psychologists, school counselors, retirees, and travelers.  

I can help you improve your Spanish for working in a specific field, but we can also have interesting conversations and debates about literature, current events, cultures, history, politics, movies, gastronomy, sports, and travel.

My lessons are tailored to each student, depending on their interests and goals. We can watch videos and tv-series, read books and interesting articles, write emails, and discuss different topics (including traditions and culture of Spanish-speaking countries).  I provide students with lesson notes, practice exercises, and examples.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure you can express your thoughts and can communicate spontaneously in Spanish, that's why since the first lesson with me, you’ll find yourself speaking Spanish.

¡Hola! Me llamo Laura. I have a degree in modern languages with emphasis in English and Spanish. I have a TOEFL international exam certification in C1 and DELF B2. I enjoy learning and teaching. I have been teaching for 4 years in schools and 2 years virtually. I love music, new food and sports. I am gym rat haha. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

And if that is not enough for you I am also an examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and that means that I perfectly know how DELE exam works ;).

- I have 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language in a secondary school and a private company in Italy and another year of teaching experience in two Secondary schools in England. I also have 3 years of experience teaching adults in online platforms (+1300 hours taught).

Hello everyone! My name is Dionisio. I have been teaching Spanish since 2008 with students from all over the world. I also have experience teaching my language and culture in other countries such as the United States.  

My classes are dynamic and communicative so that from the first moment you can find a space of confidence to express yourself in Spanish. After knowing your interests and your level of Spanish, I adapt my classes to your learning needs. Generally, I like to organize the session around a grammar point, or a vocabulary topic that helps us to structure the class, and helps you to memorize its content. I like to include different resources in my classes such as conversation on different topics, internet articles, grammar worksheets, audios, videos and kahoots that will help you develop your skills to learn Spanish in a real context. I love teaching and learning languages, and in addition to English and Spanish, I speak French and Catalan.

A little bit more about me: although I was born and raised in Zaragoza (Spain), I developed my professional career in Barcelona. Currently, I live on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to teaching Spanish, I am passionate about theater and writing, activities to which I also dedicate myself professionally as a stage director, playwright and teacher.

My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

I will help you to learn Spanish for you to achieve your specific goals taking into account your needs, your level and your learning process. Our lessons will include videos, everyday Spanish conversations, slides and more. We will also have cultural activities such as gastronomy, music and tourism. The four skills to learn a foreign language will be included as well: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and you will also have the grammar so that you can understand the language and produce it.

I`ve been teaching languages for five years now and I`ve recently started teaching Spanish, my mother tongue.  

Every class is planned in advance and taking into account the student needs. I think It`s worth mentioning here a little bit of my background because it adds up to the whole experience. I`ve been surrounded by languages, different cultures and literature since I was a child. I`ve studied languages at school but also on my own for a long time. I was born and raised in Argentina but have lived in Spain for two years. I also love travelling. I worked for the tourism industry for several years before becoming a teacher. I love learning and talking about almost anything, so I even know some medical terms just to give an example of how much I love words and communication.
