I'm just a guy who realized that this language can be difficult and tedious to learn. So I want you to enjoy your lessons by simplifying them.

I adapt my teaching to the way you like learning, not all of us like learning the same way,  you might like topics from grammar explained as easy as possible, or  maybe as fast as possible.  It's my mission to make you say: why wasn't it explained to me like this?

It doesn't matter if you know nothing at all, or if you already speak some Spanish, we can cover all the details so you can understand how this language works.

Of course I'm gonna need some effort from you, but I'll make sure this effort is worth it as we'll discard some of the tediousness that comes from learning a language.

My name is Samuel and I live in Madrid. In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.

I have a Philosophy Degree as well from Universidad Complutense. Madrid. I also really love to talk about a wide range of topics. I enjoy listening and learning from my students. Everyone has interesting things to say. With me,  you will be talking about things you like without noticing you are doing it in Spanish.

I can share with you many books, videos, infographics, newspaper articles etc in pdf format so that we have always fresh and juicy material to discuss. These last ones are a fantastic complement because sometimes the standard books for learning might be designed –what is fine- for generic purposes. Pdf files are included in the price.

I have taught students from every corner of the world and from  very different  backgrounds. I love learning from my students while I am teaching them.

I speak very fluent English so even if your knowledge of Spanish is 0 don’t be afraid. You will always be comfortable in my classes. I am also learning French so I haven’t forgotten how does it feel to be a beginner ;)

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

¡Hola! I am a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language at the University of Hong Kong and I am passionate about helping students learn Spanish in a practical and fun way. My teaching experience has been gained in schools, universities, and small online groups of individuals. Additionally, I am also an examiner of the official exams of the Cervantes Institute. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

Hola a todos, me llamo Luis y vivo en Cáceres, España. I live between Madrid and Seville, so my accent is kind of in the middle of these two. I am a methodic teacher, I use "The Thinking Method", combining Transferrable words from English and the most common words in Spanish to build up those sentences to achieve better communication. I also love history and culture (film, music, literature, geography) ¡Nos vemos en clase!

My name is Daniela. I am from Bolivia and currently live in The Netherlands. I am passionate about helping people who are interested in learning Spanish.  I have 4.5 years of experience teaching at University and working as a tutor. Also, I have a postdoc University Teaching Qualification (UTQ), which allows me to develop, teach and tutor courses at university level.

What characterizes me most as a teacher is that I have the ability to quickly and fully understand the learning process of the student, because I was trained to do this. On a personal level I consider to be myself to be a patient, determinant, and social person. Besides the viewpoint of a professional I can also understand you well from the viewpoint of being a student, as I study Dutch myself at this moment. Tourism is another speciality of mine. I followed a master in it in Salamanca, which made it possible for me  to live abroad for a while and have a cultural experience in another country.

My Spanish classes I make as interactive, practical and didactic as possible for you through songs, games, and exercises, which are according to your level and your needs. In our first class we will develop a study plan. To me it is important to know what your motivation is and what doubts you may have. That way, we can make class a fun learning place together!
