Passionate about languages and intercultural exchanges, I have taught English and Spanish as foreign languages for over 15 years in Puerto Rico, France, and online.  I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, integrating multicultural teaching resources to diversify learning styles.  I happen to believe that there is not one and only way of teaching or learning a foreign language.  Therefore, I adapt my lessons and methods to the students’ objectives, needs and interests.  My goal is always to offer an open, honest, communicative and supportive environment in which every student can feel motivated and appropriately challenged. 

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.

 I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.

Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person. 

During my lessons I always try to develop a relationship with all my students in order to discover their interests and make my lessons more interesting and enjoyable. For this reason, my motto is "make learning fun and practical".

During the lessons you will practice all the skills so that you can have a good command of Spanish.

We will go through different kind of activities: listening comprehension exercises, exercises about idioms and informal/formal vocabulary, formal/informal writings, rewriting exercises, etc.

My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

- I have 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language in a secondary school and a private company in Italy and another year of teaching experience in two Secondary schools in England. I also have 3 years of experience teaching adults in online platforms (+1300 hours taught).

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a communicative approach that incorporates grammar in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

Hola a todos, me llamo Luis y vivo en Cáceres, España. I live between Madrid and Seville, so my accent is kind of in the middle of these two. I am a methodic teacher, I use "The Thinking Method", combining Transferrable words from English and the most common words in Spanish to build up those sentences to achieve better communication.
