Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. 

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a communicative approach that incorporates grammar in a laid-back and dynamic way. I hand pick all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like music, videos and social media to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel confortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

 I have studied several languages including French, German, English and Italian. My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. Hi! I'm Agustina from a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. This town was founded by germans and the have build the first german school in the province. I visited these school and then was when I had my first contact with a foreign language. I have a passion for languages. I love learning them but also teaching them because it is the most natural and efficient way to exchange languages and cultures. In my city, Cordoba, I studied to become a German translator and thanks to an agreement between universities I had the opportunity to do two exchanges in Germany, they were incredible experiences in which I met many interesting people, made friends and visited beautiful places. 

Besides spanish, german and english I also have an elementary level of russian. 

My hobbies are writing in my literary blog, doing sports and yoga, going out with friends, dancing and making crafts. 

I have 3 years of experience as an online teacher and I use several didactic resources to make the class entertaining and to provide you with an ideal environment for concentration and language learning. 

I enjoy creating my own teaching materials.

I am also a German translator and lived in Berlin for four years. 

I work with the communicative method and focus my classes to the interests of the students. I like it when my students can loosen up and become more confident with me and the language and can start talking more. 

I work with different materials, I don't like to be glued to a book all the time, but I do like to use it for support and for some important grammatical questions. 

I like to use the material I design as my classes are personalized to the interests of each student. 

The support materials I normaly use are the books Aula Internacional and Prisma, as well as some websites that are excellent in terms of content and design and also very didactic, such as ProfedeELE or TodoELE, among others.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
