Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

At first I consider it important to hear what the apprentice is looking for and based on that, choose how the next lesson are going to take place. However I tend to make my lessons dynamic, interspersing conversations and various exercises including grammar, music and even books. I have a blackboard available to use if necessary and also headphones with a microphone to improve the audio quality.

Hello, I'm Ivett from Mexico, I love teaching Spanish to children, I am patient, friendly and polite. As a language learner I also know how is student's journey when they are learning a language. Learning don't need to be boring is should be dynamic and interactive. That's the reason always I investigate new methods and resources to teach children in a fun way and being updated.

I have been teaching children, teenagers and adults for more than 4 years. I have experience teaching children and teenagers from 7 to 16. I always like being updated with new tools to improve my teaching skills. I am currently studying a Diploma in Neuroeducation to apply all knowledge into my lessons with children. I also have a Certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language, I have a Diploma to teach children online and absolute beginners.

My Spanish lessons are focus on conversational approach in order your child be able to start speak spanish in a natural way. I use different resources to make our lessons engaging like Rockalingua, Spanish for kids, Twinkl, Wordwall, Kahoot and others and also digital books focused on meaningful learning such as: Colega, Lola & Leo, Submarino, Reporteros internacionales. 

Optional - Once a week I can send a worksheet with topics we learned during the lesson in order children can practice what they have learned.

In the lessons we will use whatever resources are necessary to achieve our goals. We will use material of interest to you, such as websites, newspapers, songs, podcasts and videos, etc.

I prefer to speak in Spanish from the beginning (ELE Certified). But if necessary, we will use English (120 hours TESOL Certified). I have lived in Africa and on the border with Brazil for a few years, so Portuguese is another option.
