Hello! I am Blanca, a Mexican teacher with a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books.  

I love reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I have lived abroad and I know what it's like to be in your shoes when it comes to learning a new language because I'm a language learner myself.

I became a Spanish teacher because I found a passion for teaching and helping people improve their language skills. I've taught Spanish to businessmen, engineers, university students, psychologists, school counselors, retirees, and travelers.  

I can help you improve your Spanish for working in a specific field, but we can also have interesting conversations and debates about literature, current events, cultures, history, politics, movies, gastronomy, sports, and travel.

My lessons are tailored to each student, depending on their interests and goals. We can watch videos and tv-series, read books and interesting articles, write emails, and discuss different topics (including traditions and culture of Spanish-speaking countries).  I provide students with lesson notes, practice exercises, and examples.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure you can express your thoughts and can communicate spontaneously in Spanish, that's why since the first lesson with me, you’ll find yourself speaking Spanish.

Passionate about languages and intercultural exchanges, I have taught English and Spanish as foreign languages for over 15 years in Puerto Rico, France, and online.  I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, integrating multicultural teaching resources to diversify learning styles.  I happen to believe that there is not one and only way of teaching or learning a foreign language.  Therefore, I adapt my lessons and methods to the students’ objectives, needs and interests.  My goal is always to offer an open, honest, communicative and supportive environment in which every student can feel motivated and appropriately challenged.

I am Antonio, born and raised in Andalucía, Spain. I am a native, certified and experienced foreign language teacher currently working as an online Spanish teacher in the Netherlands.

I provide professional and meaningful learning experiences considering your objectives, interests and aspects to improve. I have 6+ years of experience teaching Spanish for general and specific purposes (conversational, business, traveling, and certification exams) in adult education, both online and in person. On top of that, I am a certified DELE and SIELE examiner.

Regarding my educational background, I graduated in English Studies and, to cut a long story short, I hold three master’s degrees on different aspects related to teaching Spanish and have a wide range of language teacher training certifications.

I am available for 55 or 30 minutes classes.

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.

Hola a todos, me llamo Luis y vivo en Cáceres, España. I live between Madrid and Seville, so my accent is kind of in the middle of these two. I am a methodic teacher, I use "The Thinking Method", combining Transferrable words from English and the most common words in Spanish to build up those sentences to achieve better communication. As a teacher, I use a communicative method, which aims to learn a second language using real life examples to learn to communicate in everyday situations. My classes are fun and effective. With me you will learn grammar, vocabulary and culture and we will focus on the conversation. If you are a beginner, we can put together a plan with the basic topics of Spanish so you can start learning this wonderful language.

ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE

I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom setting (more than 1300 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen  great improvement in my students' ability to communicate. 

TYPES OF LESSONS AND MATERIALS:

Flipped classroom programme: It'll especially boost your Speaking skills in an organised, structured and visual way. Materials will be sent every weekend (video lessons, PDFS, flashcards, grammar games...) and all skills will be covered. In class, we’ll try to practice what you learnt through speaking activities.

Flex lessons: They can be a mix of structure lesson (the one above) and flexible lessons. You can also choose practicing your Spanish through my interactive magazine (B1-B2) which includes: articles, videos, expressions ... In class we can do debates and discussions around these topics.

Conversation programme: Based on the books “Conversar en español I & II”. We’ll do lot of controlled speaking practice. The course also includes access to the Power Points , audio files and notes from the lesson.
