My name is Javi, I am from Seville, from the south of Spain. I am a Spanish teacher with more than 3 year of experience in teaching Spanish online.  

I am a certified teacher that always keeps doing new kind of courses on language teaching in order to keep updated and achieve the best results in my classes. Besides, I have studied Translation and Interpreting, I can speak fluently 4 languages. Therefore, I am an experienced language learner who knows how languages work. In my classes, I try not to overfocus on teaching grammar or lists of vocabulary,  but giving priority to the communication skills such as listening and speaking, considering that we remember better what we say than what we read. In each class I emphasize oral practice to help students feel confident to express themselves naturally in specific situations.

In some cases, the grammatical structure is included in a simplified and dynamic way, and the grammatical concepts may or may not be used in our class, depending on the interests or preferences of each student.

Also, I like to share the history and culture of my country and Latin America through the practice of Spanish as a natural practice for intermediate and advanced Spanish.
