My training as a Spanish instructor is based on studies of Spanish grammar and using the communicative approach methodology that is based on practical and simple activities that help develop skills such as oral expression, listening comprehension, writing with dictation and reading as well. Of course phonetics is included. Each class focuses on the specific needs of each student.

In each class I emphasize oral practice to help students feel confident to express themselves naturally in specific situations.

In some cases, the grammatical structure is included in a simplified and dynamic way, and the grammatical concepts may or may not be used in our class, depending on the interests or preferences of each student.

Also, I like to share the history and culture of my country and Latin America through the practice of Spanish as a natural practice for intermediate and advanced Spanish.

And, about me... I was born and raised in Spain (Burgos), and still living here. I love languages and always try to help as much as I can.

My name is Franco Del Gesso, I am Argentinian and passionate about psychology along with education since I think it is the fundamental tool for progress, that is why I love teaching and conducting research to find how to help the development of education from psychology, I am a very sociable and dynamic person, in constant movement.

I consider myself a cheerful teacher who has the ability to adapt to the needs of each student. I am very sociable and I have the ability to start conversations very easily. I like having more than one method to teach this language either through speech, writing, images, videos and even music. At first I consider it important to hear what the apprentice is looking for and based on that, choose how the next lesson are going to take place. However I tend to make my lessons dynamic, interspersing conversations and various exercises including grammar, music and even books. I have a blackboard available to use if necessary and also headphones with a microphone to improve the audio quality.

I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

I’m a native Spanish teacher from Ruzafa, Valencia (Spain), certified by Universidad de Nebrija. I'm teaching and improving my students skills since 2014. I can teach from conversation lessons to preparation for DELE certificates (from A1 to C2). Hace algunos años, decidí estudiar un grado en Lenguas Modernas y sus Literaturas (inglés-francés). Además, también he terminado un máster en Educación. Las lenguas, las culturas y la gente son solo algunas de mis verdaderas pasiones. 1. ¡No me gustan las clases aburridas!, así que utilizaremos materiales/métodos siempre basados en tus intereses. Daremos clases mediante herramientas interactivas y relacionadas con juegos. El enfoque será esencialmente COMUNICATIVO/INNOVADOR.
