My name is Metzly, a Mexican who loves music, art, and cats!  

I like to help people to speak Spanish with confidence, even on the first levels of the language.

My goal is to build a fun, safe, and no-pressure learning environment for you. So, mistakes are encouraged!

After you book a trial lesson with me, I'll send you a comprehensive test that will allow me to determine your Spanish level. I like to focus on students' pronunciation and effective use of language.

My lessons are "Conversational Spanish"; if you are on a basic level, like A2+ / B1, we can have a more structured lesson.  

If you don't understand a specific grammar topic, we can discuss it and use some examples -related to your life-.  

We can also use pictures, paintings (my favorite way of practicing a language), videos, or anything that will help you to talk in Spanish.

My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

- I hold a BA degree in Translation Studies from Valencia University and a MA degree in Legal Translation (University of Alicante). I have also a postgraduate certificate in Modern Foreign Languages Teaching from Canterbury Christ Church University. Apart from my degrees from university, I hold certificates in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and in professional proofreading from European University of Madrid. And if that is not enough for you I am also an examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and that means that I perfectly know how DELE exam works ;).

- I have 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language in a secondary school and a private company in Italy and another year of teaching experience in two Secondary schools in England. I also have 3 years of experience teaching adults in online platforms (+1300 hours taught).

- I use a communicative methodology. That is, I analyse your needs to create tailored and challenging lessons with the best resources to communicate and write clearly and effectively.

- I can guarantee a friendly and supportive environment during our lessons.

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.

 I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.

Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person. 

During my lessons I always try to develop a relationship with all my students in order to discover their interests and make my lessons more interesting and enjoyable. For this reason, my motto is "make learning fun and practical".

¡Hola! Me llamo Laura. I have a degree in modern languages with emphasis in English and Spanish. I have a TOEFL international exam certification in C1 and DELF B2. I enjoy learning and teaching. I have been teaching for 4 years in schools and 2 years virtually. I love music, new food and sports. I am gym rat haha. I'm just a guy who realized that this language can be difficult and tedious to learn. So I want you to enjoy your lessons by simplifying them.

I adapt my teaching to the way you like learning, not all of us like learning the same way,  you might like topics from grammar explained as easy as possible, or  maybe as fast as possible.  It's my mission to make you say: why wasn't it explained to me like this?

It doesn't matter if you know nothing at all, or if you already speak some Spanish, we can cover all the details so you can understand how this language works.

Of course I'm gonna need some effort from you, but I'll make sure this effort is worth it as we'll discard some of the tediousness that comes from learning a language.  

So it's gonna be a pleasure to meet you, and help you learn this language. 

I offer conversation practice and structured courses, from absolute beginner to C1, grammar drills and homework if you wish. Wide experience with adults and senior students. I will provide you with notes and examples from our lessons, during the lesson in Google Docs, or after the lesson, via e-mail. You don't need to decide in advance if you prefer Latin American Spanish or European Spanish, I can teach you the main differences and help you decide. 

In our first lesson or trial we will figure out how your learning plan will be, depending on your individual needs, learning style and goals. If it's your first online lesson, there's no need to stress, I'm very understanding and patient. 

Oh and to tell you a little about me...I love animals, languages, reading and traveling.

As each person learns in a different way, we will take advantage of your strengths and work in your weaknesses. The tutoring is designed to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. It will depend on your needs and priorities.

In the lessons we will use whatever resources are necessary to achieve our goals. We will use material of interest to you, such as websites, newspapers, songs, podcasts and videos, etc.

I prefer to speak in Spanish from the beginning (ELE Certified). But if necessary, we will use English (120 hours TESOL Certified). I have lived in Africa and on the border with Brazil for a few years, so Portuguese is another option.
