I am a philosophy student at the University of Buenos Aires. Having to deal with classic philosophers and old texts I decided to specialize in ancient languages such as Latin, Ancient Greek and Sanskrit, but I also studied modern languages like English, French and German. I like music and I play the trumpet. I also love Tango music and really enjoy translating lyrics! Now teaching Ancient History. I provide visual History books in Spanish.

Now a certified E/LE teacher by Instituto Cervantes via Academia Buenos Aires.

I teach students from all ages. I love teaching kids! My lessons are for complete beginners, intermediate students who want to improve their spanish and advanced ones looking to polish their skills.

If you don't have materials don't worry! I have my own method for complete beginners and a progressive reading book which I believe is very useful. We can also use your own materials.

I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

My name is Daniela. I am from Bolivia and currently live in The Netherlands. I am passionate about helping people who are interested in learning Spanish.  I have 4.5 years of experience teaching at University and working as a tutor. Also, I have a postdoc University Teaching Qualification (UTQ), which allows me to develop, teach and tutor courses at university level.

What characterizes me most as a teacher is that I have the ability to quickly and fully understand the learning process of the student, because I was trained to do this. On a personal level I consider to be myself to be a patient, determinant, and social person. Besides the viewpoint of a professional I can also understand you well from the viewpoint of being a student, as I study Dutch myself at this moment. Tourism is another speciality of mine. I followed a master in it in Salamanca, which made it possible for me  to live abroad for a while and have a cultural experience in another country.

My Spanish classes I make as interactive, practical and didactic as possible for you through songs, games, and exercises, which are according to your level and your needs. In our first class we will develop a study plan. To me it is important to know what your motivation is and what doubts you may have. That way, we can make class a fun learning place together!

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.

Hello! I am Monica and I am a certified Spanish teacher with more than 7 years experience teaching Spanish to people from all over the world.

I have many hours of teaching experience, as from 2016 to 2019 I worked in a Spanish academy in my home city, Medellín, where I worked 40 hours per week teaching Spanish as a foreign language; I had 1-to-1 sessions and also groups of up to 6 students; the classes were amazing and I loved the experience since I could meet people from a range of cultures, thanks to that I realized that there are extraordinary people from every corner of the world.

Since 2019 I have been working as an online Spanish teacher and now I am living in the UK, doing a master's degree in international education and dedicating free time to my favourite hobbies: Cooking, salsa dancing and swimming.

My lessons are planned to be enjoyable and comfortable. I use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and I love getting to know my students well as it allows me to tailor each lesson to their personality and way of learning; every lesson you have with me will be carefully prepared for you, I hope to meet you soon!

Como profesora, uso un método comunicativo, el cual tiene como objetivo aprender un segundo idioma usando ejemplos de la vida real para aprender a comunicarnos en situaciones cotidianas. En este método usamos la gramática como una herramienta más, que muchas veces podremos aprender a través de situaciones comunicativas reales por medio del contexto, la observación y el sentido común. 

 Si eres un principiante, podemos armar un plan con los temas básicos del español para que comiences a aprender este maravilloso idioma.

I have taught over 2,000 classes in the last year and I love helping other people learn my language.

As a teacher, I use a communicative method, which aims to learn a second language using real life examples to learn to communicate in everyday situations. In this method we use grammar just as another tool, which we can often learn through real communicative situations through context, observation and common sense

 If you are a beginner, we can put together a plan with the basic topics of Spanish so you can start learning this wonderful language.

I offer conversation practice and structured courses, from absolute beginner to C1, grammar drills and homework if you wish. Wide experience with adults and senior students. I will provide you with notes and examples from our lessons, during the lesson in Google Docs, or after the lesson, via e-mail. You don't need to decide in advance if you prefer Latin American Spanish or European Spanish, I can teach you the main differences and help you decide. 

In our first lesson or trial we will figure out how your learning plan will be, depending on your individual needs, learning style and goals. If it's your first online lesson, there's no need to stress, I'm very understanding and patient. 

Oh and to tell you a little about me...I love animals, languages, reading and traveling.

ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE

I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom setting (more than 1300 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen  great improvement in my students' ability to communicate. 

TYPES OF LESSONS AND MATERIALS:

Flipped classroom programme: It'll especially boost your Speaking skills in an organised, structured and visual way. Materials will be sent every weekend (video lessons, PDFS, flashcards, grammar games...) and all skills will be covered. In class, we’ll try to practice what you learnt through speaking activities.

Flex lessons: They can be a mix of structure lesson (the one above) and flexible lessons. You can also choose practicing your Spanish through my interactive magazine (B1-B2) which includes: articles, videos, expressions ... In class we can do debates and discussions around these topics.

Conversation programme: Based on the books “Conversar en español I & II”. We’ll do lot of controlled speaking practice. The course also includes access to the Power Points , audio files and notes from the lesson.
