I have specialised in teaching Spanish to English speakers, but I have also taught international students in Thailand, Granada (Spain) and, of course, online.

My lessons are very dynamic and tailored to your needs.

I really enjoy teaching all kind of levels: it is very rewarding seeing the progress of a beginner student that starts to be able to communicate in Spanish after a few well structured classes whereas more advance lessons allow to very interesting topics and a little bit more freedom in the structure of the lesson.

A little bit more about me: I was born and raised in Zaragoza, a small city in the North of Spain famous for its wine, food and a football team that used to be good. I love traveling and languages: currently I'm studying Japanese, but I also (try to) speak French, Arabic and Spanish Sign Language; so yes, I know how it feels learning a language from 0! You're not alone in this process and I'll try my best to make it easy for you :D

Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. 

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a communicative approach that incorporates grammar in a laid-back and dynamic way. I hand pick all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like music, videos and social media to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel confortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

 I have studied several languages including French, German, English and Italian. My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. Passionate about languages and intercultural exchanges, I have taught English and Spanish as foreign languages for over 15 years in Puerto Rico, France, and online.  I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, integrating multicultural teaching resources to diversify learning styles.  I happen to believe that there is not one and only way of teaching or learning a foreign language.  Therefore, I adapt my lessons and methods to the students’ objectives, needs and interests.  My goal is always to offer an open, honest, communicative and supportive environment in which every student can feel motivated and appropriately challenged. 

Hello! I am Monica and I am a certified Spanish teacher with more than 7 years experience teaching Spanish to people from all over the world.

I have many hours of teaching experience, as from 2016 to 2019 I worked in a Spanish academy in my home city, Medellín, where I worked 40 hours per week teaching Spanish as a foreign language; I had 1-to-1 sessions and also groups of up to 6 students; the classes were amazing and I loved the experience since I could meet people from a range of cultures, thanks to that I realized that there are extraordinary people from every corner of the world.

Since 2019 I have been working as an online Spanish teacher and now I am living in the UK, doing a master's degree in international education and dedicating free time to my favourite hobbies: Cooking, salsa dancing and swimming.

My lessons are planned to be enjoyable and comfortable. I use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and I love getting to know my students well as it allows me to tailor each lesson to their personality and way of learning; every lesson you have with me will be carefully prepared for you, I hope to meet you soon!

I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.

My teaching experience has been gained in schools, universities, and small online groups of individuals. Additionally, I am also an examiner of the official exams of the Cervantes Institute. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and learning about different cultures.

I`ve been teaching languages for five years now and I`ve recently started teaching Spanish, my mother tongue.  

Every class is planned in advance and taking into account the student needs. When the class is finished, I always save a copy of what we`ve gone over, therefore the next class is even better and the material even more accurate and entertaining. I use a wide variety of resources, ranging from the most renowned text books, online exercises, or grammar resources to articles, news, or media in general.

I think It`s worth mentioning here a little bit of my background because it adds up to the whole experience. I`ve been surrounded by languages, different cultures and literature since I was a child. I`ve studied languages at school but also on my own for a long time. I was born and raised in Argentina but have lived in Spain for two years. I also love travelling. I worked for the tourism industry for several years before becoming a teacher. I love learning and talking about almost anything, so I even know some medical terms just to give an example of how much I love words and communication.
