I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

We can also use pictures, paintings (my favorite way of practicing a language), videos, or anything that will help you to talk in Spanish.

My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, and I'm a respiratory therapist and language teacher. Currently, I'm studying a master’s degree in Neuro-pedagogy. Thanks to all this knowledge, I use a methodology that is 100% personalized to your needs and desires. 

I am currently specializing in Spanish for travelers, this specialty is a little different from general Spanish, because here we look for a specific goal for your learning, such as a conference, a upcoming trip or simply learning specific terminology of your area.

Together we will set a goal, and in base on that we will create your curriculum, where you are the leader and I give you recommendations. 

 I implement mindfulness, and breathe work exercises to bring all our attention to the class and to favor the concentration and maximize the feeling of joy while learning. 🗣 CONVERSATION + LISTENING ➡️  the key is practice, practice and practice some more! You will have feedback on your pronunciation and you will improve your fluency. You'll expand your vocabulary and learn specific conversation structures as well. We also focus on gaining confidence as you speak. My moto: "focus on conversation, not perfection".

Hello! I am Blanca, a Mexican teacher with a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books.

I am a philosophy student at the University of Buenos Aires. Having to deal with classic philosophers and old texts I decided to specialize in ancient languages such as Latin, Ancient Greek and Sanskrit, but I also studied modern languages like English, French and German. I like music and I play the trumpet. I also love Tango music and really enjoy translating lyrics! Now teaching Ancient History. I provide visual History books in Spanish.
