I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. My name is Esther and I live in Changwon, a beautiful city in the south of South Korea. I came to Asia to work in the 3D graphic design industry but end up falling in love with teaching languages and culture. To become a good teacher and help my students I got a Spanish Philology undergraduate degree, a master’s degree in ELE (teaching Spanish as a second language) and became a certified DELE examiner. At first I consider it important to hear what the apprentice is looking for and based on that, choose how the next lesson are going to take place. However I tend to make my lessons dynamic, interspersing conversations and various exercises including grammar, music and even books. I have a blackboard available to use if necessary and also headphones with a microphone to improve the audio quality.
