Hello everyone! I am Itziar and I am a Spanish teacher. I am currently living in Spain but I lived in different countries in the past. I am a native speaker with a neutral Spanish accent. My name is Amaya and I am a very passionate Spanish teacher.

I have a postgraduate in Spanish teaching as a foreign language by the University of Barcelona, also I am a DELE examiner and I have as well the Spanish teaching certificate to teach in secondary school. I teach also Spanish for specific purposes like business and I have experience training new Spanish teachers. My level of English is very good and I am very successful in my work which I feel very passionate for.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
