My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, and I'm a respiratory therapist and language teacher. Currently, I'm studying a master’s degree in Neuro-pedagogy. Thanks to all this knowledge, I use a methodology that is 100% personalized to your needs and desires. 

I am currently specializing in Spanish for travelers, this specialty is a little different from general Spanish, because here we look for a specific goal for your learning, such as a conference, a upcoming trip or simply learning specific terminology of your area.

Together we will set a goal, and in base on that we will create your curriculum, where you are the leader and I give you recommendations. 

 I implement mindfulness, and breathe work exercises to bring all our attention to the class and to favor the concentration and maximize the feeling of joy while learning. We will use online platforms, games, videos, and audios to create fun and interactive classes. I take the time to design the curriculum for each student because we all learn different.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
