I’m a native Spanish teacher from Ruzafa, Valencia (Spain), certified by Universidad de Nebrija. I'm teaching and improving my students skills since 2014. I can teach from conversation lessons to preparation for DELE certificates (from A1 to C2). I have experience in online and face to face lessons: my method is based on conversation (acquiring fluency) and expanding, in a practical way, your grammatical knowledge and vocabulary to improve. I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

🗣 CONVERSATION + LISTENING ➡️  the key is practice, practice and practice some more! You will have feedback on your pronunciation and you will improve your fluency. You'll expand your vocabulary and learn specific conversation structures as well. We also focus on gaining confidence as you speak. My moto: "focus on conversation, not perfection".

My name is Esther and I live in Changwon, a beautiful city in the south of South Korea. I came to Asia to work in the 3D graphic design industry but end up falling in love with teaching languages and culture. My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, and I'm a respiratory therapist and language teacher. Currently, I'm studying a master’s degree in Neuro-pedagogy. Thanks to all this knowledge, I use a methodology that is 100% personalized to your needs and desires. 

I am currently specializing in Spanish for travelers, this specialty is a little different from general Spanish, because here we look for a specific goal for your learning, such as a conference, a upcoming trip or simply learning specific terminology of your area.

Together we will set a goal, and in base on that we will create your curriculum, where you are the leader and I give you recommendations. 

 I implement mindfulness, and breathe work exercises to bring all our attention to the class and to favor the concentration and maximize the feeling of joy while learning. We will use online platforms, games, videos, and audios to create fun and interactive classes. I take the time to design the curriculum for each student because we all learn different.

I offer conversation practice and structured courses, from absolute beginner to C1, grammar drills and homework if you wish. Wide experience with adults and senior students. I will provide you with notes and examples from our lessons, during the lesson in Google Docs, or after the lesson, via e-mail. You don't need to decide in advance if you prefer Latin American Spanish or European Spanish, I can teach you the main differences and help you decide. 

In our first lesson or trial we will figure out how your learning plan will be, depending on your individual needs, learning style and goals. If it's your first online lesson, there's no need to stress, I'm very understanding and patient.
