Hi, I'm Federico and I want to guide you on the exciting journey of learning a new language.

As each person learns in a different way, we will take advantage of your strengths and work in your weaknesses. The tutoring is designed to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. It will depend on your needs and priorities.

In the lessons we will use whatever resources are necessary to achieve our goals. We will use material of interest to you, such as websites, newspapers, songs, podcasts and videos, etc.

I prefer to speak in Spanish from the beginning (ELE Certified). But if necessary, we will use English (120 hours TESOL Certified). I have lived in Africa and on the border with Brazil for a few years, so Portuguese is another option.

Traveling is a beautiful way to discover life. So enjoy the trip!

Our classes will be dynamics, we'll see videos, slides, listening and speaking.

As a teacher, I use a communicative method, which aims to learn a second language using real life examples to learn to communicate in everyday situations. My classes are fun and effective. With me you will learn grammar, vocabulary and culture and we will focus on the conversation. If you are a beginner, we can put together a plan with the basic topics of Spanish so you can start learning this wonderful language.

Hola a todos, me llamo Luis y vivo en Cáceres, España. I live between Madrid and Seville, so my accent is kind of in the middle of these two. I am a methodic teacher, I use "The Thinking Method", combining Transferrable words from English and the most common words in Spanish to build up those sentences to achieve better communication. I am a philosophy student at the University of Buenos Aires. Having to deal with classic philosophers and old texts I decided to specialize in ancient languages such as Latin, Ancient Greek and Sanskrit, but I also studied modern languages like English, French and German. I like music and I play the trumpet. I also love Tango music and really enjoy translating lyrics! Now teaching Ancient History. I provide visual History books in Spanish.

I teach students from all ages. I love teaching kids! My lessons are for complete beginners, intermediate students who want to improve their spanish and advanced ones looking to polish their skills.

If you don't have materials don't worry! I have my own method for complete beginners and a progressive reading book which I believe is very useful. We can also use your own materials.

I`ve been teaching languages for five years now and I`ve recently started teaching Spanish, my mother tongue.  

Every class is planned in advance and taking into account the student needs. When the class is finished, I always save a copy of what we`ve gone over, therefore the next class is even better and the material even more accurate and entertaining. I use a wide variety of resources, ranging from the most renowned text books, online exercises, or grammar resources to articles, news, or media in general.

I think It`s worth mentioning here a little bit of my background because it adds up to the whole experience. I`ve been surrounded by languages, different cultures and literature since I was a child. I`ve studied languages at school but also on my own for a long time. I was born and raised in Argentina but have lived in Spain for two years. I also love travelling. I worked for the tourism industry for several years before becoming a teacher. I love learning and talking about almost anything, so I even know some medical terms just to give an example of how much I love words and communication. Well, enough of me! hehe, I`m looking forward to meeting you and hopefully work together towards your goal!

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning.
