I have a Bachelors Degree in Translation, a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as Second Language, and another one in Hispanic Studies. I’m a native and qualified Spanish teacher who has been living and teaching in London and other parts around the world for more than 10 years both online and face-to-face.

My experience teaching these subjects varies in ages, from 6 to 87 years old across different nationalities, backgrounds and abilities.

I have a lot of of experience with kids and adults (A1-C2) and GCSE’s, A-levels and DELE preparation, conversation, writing, reading, pronunciation, extra help with homework, etc. I teach individuals and groups.

✏️Tailored curriculum for all students with activities and materials that reflect the actual use of Spanish E.g. audio, ads, texts, and interviews of native speakers.

📝In the grammar classes, the students receive detailed information on grammar issues following a designed curriculum that goes from A1 (beginner) level to C1-C2 (advanced) level. When practicing, we have a conversation and I give feedback using what they´ve learned.

In the conversation lessons, we focus on speaking and listening and I always promote debate and offer necessary corrections. We can cover a range of topics, e.g., current events, culture, science, philosophy, or even a topic proposed by the student beforehand.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

I will help you to learn Spanish for you to achieve your specific goals taking into account your needs, your level and your learning process. Our lessons will include videos, everyday Spanish conversations, slides and more. We will also have cultural activities such as gastronomy, music and tourism. The four skills to learn a foreign language will be included as well: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and you will also have the grammar so that you can understand the language and produce it.

I have worked with people from different ages and levels and I have helped some of them to pass international exams.  Over the last 20 years I have taught English and Spanish and I always try to do my best for my students to enjoy the lessons, have fun and above all to learn.

I'm from Ecuador but I'm currently living in the Netherlands.  I've been teaching both English and Spanish for 15 years.

¡Hola! My name is Elena, I'm a 24-year-old qualified teacher based on Sevilla, Andalucía. I have been teaching online for more than three years, with more than 1300 hours of lessons completed.  

I believe that online education is the future of learning, that's why I have a Master's degree in Education, Language teaching and Innovation. I am also qualified by Cambridge University as a language tutor in both Spanish and English.  

In these 3 years I have learnt a lot from my students. Every student is different, what may work for some may not work for others, so I try to get to know my students' likes and interests. The more we progress, the better I can analyse what your strengths are, and therefore adapt the lessons to your specific needs.

I use many different techniques and resources: from presentations created by me, to video lessons, interactive quizzes, homework, etc. All my students have access to a shared Drive folder where you can find resources, contents and materials, so you can revise and progress as you wish.
