My lessons

For most of you, the ultimate goal of learning a language is to be able to converse with people in the language.

I will make sure that you speak a lot in my lesson and get used to the Japanese language structure, and I will introduce its unique culture.

Please share your interests and motivation as to why you like to study Japanese, so that I can customise a lesson and deliver a tailored session to you. 
 

Beginners: Structured lessons - Grammar & Conversation

• This session is to learn the fundamental grammar based on 'Minna no Nihongo 初級I ・初級II' .
• I will introduce a target grammar in a lesson, and help you to be able to describe/express in Japanese.
• Of course, we can start from Japanese writing system,  Hiragana/Katakana if you wish.

       You will achieve in building the fundamental grammar and apply it in a Japanese spoken context.

Intermediate/Advanced students: Informal tutoring - pick a topic and let's talk !

• This session is a freestyle conversation time, we can talk about Japanese lifestyle, food, music and anime etc.
• We can discuss what topic you would like to talk about prior to a lesson.
• I will be checking and making notes about your speaking during this session. For instance, mistakes or speaking habits etc.

      You will get feedback from me after the session, and we might be able to find where you can improve next or I can suggest useful idioms. I can correct pitch accent as well if necessary.

About myself

• I love languages - I have been learning Chinese, Korean and French. I would love to learn German, Spanish, Portuguese and more....
• I love rock music - Pop punk, Classic rock, glam rock, hard rock etc.
• I love very good coffees - Coffee is a big deal in Australia ! I used to be a barista.
