Hello and welcome,

My name is Patricia and I am excited to be your Spanish teacher!

I firmly believe that when learning a language, the content should be adapted to the student. This is why our classes will be full of conversation, interesting vocabulary and relevant activities tailored to your interests and needs with Spanish. My previous experiences as both a primary school and ESL teacher allowed me to see which parts of a language need more work and which ones are learnt more intuitively, common mistakes students make, and the different contexts in which a foreign language is needed. 

Amongst our more common exercises you will find: Practicing real life conversations, useful vocabulary, reading stories and articles that we can analyze to practice reading comprehension, having fun with popular idioms and Spanish expressions, practicing audio comprehension, and writing tips.

But overall, it will be a class where we meet your needs, either if these mean improving your Spanish to get better at your job, to go travel in Latin America, to talk to your in-laws, or just completing your Spanish homework for class.
