Hello, my name is Nicoletta and I come from the small island of Cyprus. However, both my parents have British roots and I have grown up speaking English as my primary language.

As a person who has always been interested in other countries and cultures, I have embarked on learning new languages myself in the last few years. Most recently Korean! Doing this, I realised how important it is to have someone guide you and support you on your language learning journey. I hope to be that person for you, to aid you and support you with your experience of the English language.

I have had various experiences working with children and individuals both in schools and informal settings. I homeschooled my brother who has special needs in Science, English, and Maths. In addition, during my university years, I led year 1 undergraduate students (both native English and international students) in various projects with the English language being key in the design and delivery of these presentations. I have also volunteered at a school, with my task being to provide individualised support to students in a variety of subjects. All of these experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to now lead my own classes. In the past year, I have been working towards my TEFL qualifications, completing the general course, an advanced course in preparing students to take English language exams, and a Business English course.

I believe in tailoring each lesson to meet the students needs. I believe that the student is the most important person in any lesson and that the teacher should focus their material on the students’ goals, interests, and aspirations.

I’m Diana, a friendly and patient English teacher from the beautiful city of Cape Town currently living in Portugal. In 2017, I completed my TESOL and TEYLT trainings and since then I have worked with students from all around the world both in language schools and online. I have lived and taught English in 5 different countries (Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa) to students of all levels (beginners to advanced). In 2021, I became certified to teach Ielts and have thus helped numerous students with  their exam preparations too.

I'm passionate about learning and teaching languages and have studied Portuguese, Spanish, German and Turkish. Through my own language studies, I have learnt that an active conversational approach is the best way to master a language! Some of my other passions include yoga, travel, food and art!:)

My approach to teaching depends a lot on the level and goals of the student. Each student is unique with different necessities so I don’t have a one size fits all proposition. Hello! My name is Tim, I’m from England, and I’m a professional English teacher. I trained at International House in London where I gained the Cambridge CELTA qualification, and I’ve worked with students of all levels and of many different nationalities. I’m also a Spanish student (B2-C1 level) so I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language!

I use the ‘communicative approach’ to English teaching, which means that you will have lots of opportunities to practise your speaking skills in a relaxed environment and receive helpful feedback. During a lesson, you have many options; for example, you can follow a structured course (like in a language school), you can develop your speaking skills by having conversation classes (if your level is B1+) or I can help you to prepare for an exam such as IELTS. Depending on your goals, I will adapt to you because you are always the protagonist! What’s more, I know how important it is to learn grammar and vocabulary that you can use in the real world, and I also enjoy helping students to improve their pronunciation by exploring how the different sounds in English are produced. I use a variety of interesting materials (such as articles, audios, modern textbooks, and videos) and we can talk about any topic that is of interest to you.

I'm Ryan, I am a Canadian Certified English TESOL instructor.  I am a Native English speaker, currently living in Mexico.  I have taught all ages and abilities.  In the past I have taught at an English school but now I am mostly teaching online, which I enjoy al lot!  I love teaching English to beginners, intermediates and I also really look forward to helping advanced leaners prep for IELTS, CELPIP or even preparing you for your next job interview.

Hi there! I'm teacher Dio and I have been a teacher for over a decade. I love what I do - I am passionate about languages. I speak 3 languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English). I've lived in Germany, Ireland, and I just recently moved to Spain. I am telling you this because that means I KNOW how learning a language works.  

Something that is important to know is that you DON'T need to live in an English-speaking country to learn English effectively. Before the lesson, I will give you an article (from english-online.net or another online source) about the topic for you to study to prepare. In the conversation lesson, we will talk about the topic. You will expand your English vocabulary with my suggestions.  You will review spoken grammar when you use it in the conversation and receive my constant feedback.  I will explain the grammar point if needed.  You will leave the lesson with many notes and exercises for further practice.

2. Storytelling (in business and daily conversations) 

3. Description skills (how to describe your work, problems, experiences, people, objects etc)

4. Functional language (how to make presentations, how to negotiate, how to give advice, how to agree and disagree etc)
