My name is Florence. I come from France and I am an experienced French teacher for foreigners, certified by the Alliance Française de Paris and hold a Master’s degree in FLE (french for foreigners) to teach you my mother tongue. I have experience teaching a wide range of adults from all continents and at all levels.

But also ... before starting to teach French full-time and because of a double technical and commercial training, I worked for a long time in marketing and international trade for companies in various sectors of activities: electrical construction, car accessories, shoes… I also created my own business to distribute my creations of costume jewelry.

I’m originally from the East of France, a small town near the Swiss border, and I've been around a lot! I have lived in different regions of France: from North to South, from East to West, from Paris to Nice, from Lyon to Albi. After living in Valparaiso, Chile, I returned to Europe and then settled in Spain for almost 15 years. Today, I live in Alicante with my family.

I'm Tina! Originally from Paris, France, where I lived for most of my life, I’ve been living overseas for the past 10 years and currently in beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

I've been a full time tennis coach for 16 years in several countries and changed careers 3 years ago for the social work field. I’ve also been tutoring students in English and French all throughout my tennis coaching years and up to this day! From complete beginners to advanced levels, children to adults, group and private lessons, I love the variation and finding new ways to make lessons fun and adapted to each student’s own needs and expectations!

I’ve been a student myself, learning English, Spanish, Dutch... I’ve had the chance to meet great teachers along the way who taught me valuable lessons: love to learn, love what you learn and always have fun while you’re doing it! I deeply aspire to be as helpful to my students as my teachers have been to me.

My name is Célia, a native French teacher living in Germany. I have graduated of my master of French as a Foreign Language [teaching French to foreigners] in 2020 at the university of Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and I became a DELF (A1-B2) corrector in 2022. I grew up in a small village next to Montpellier, and I have been living in Germany for the past 3 years.

During my master’s degree, I learned how to create didactic unit (lessons), exams, and how to use the CEFR (common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I have been teaching French online for the last 3 years to students ranging from level A1 to level B2, and students of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults. During our first class, I will ask you: why you want to learn French, what are your goals, what are your interests, if you want to study one aspect of the language more than another, what is your current level of French etc. Our first conversation during our trial lesson will allow me to get an idea of your level and to prepare a plan for our next lessons. The resources I use are diverse: oral comprehension from the media, text comprehensions [studies of books, articles, extracts of text], grammar exercises etc. The resources are adapted to your level and your objectives. My teaching method is mainly based on communicative and action-oriented approaches. My goal is to involve students as much as possible in their learning, to encourage them to express themselves as much as possible in French in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. In conversation classes, I’ll give you plenty of time to speak and I will provide you with detailed feedback that will help you get a better understanding of the use of French. I choose topics we can talk about during and plan lessons around them. However, you are very welcome to choose topics that fit your own interests.

For exam preparation classes, I will focus on improving your writing and speaking skills to help you reach the score you aim at. I have helped many students get the B2+ and more in TEF and TCF Canada exams.

As for beginners classes, we can use a manual or have informal classes.

I've been teaching online since 2016, having in the previous 15 years worked with young people, adults and foreigners of all levels. 

In my opinion, enthusiasm, patience, humour and understanding are the keys for efficient learning. I also like to have discussions, and give my students readings and writing exercises. 

If you have an intermediate level, we can speak about any topic that interests you. My interests include ecology and self sufficiency, architecture, history, geopolitics, philosophy, Asian food, horses, and nature.
