I’m astounded by Langua. I've been listening to podcasts and yt videos through it. It lays out the transcripts in italian. Then I can highlight a word I don’t know and it saves it for flashcards. Then the AI can ask me to use the new words in a sentence. And if I get it wrong (most of the time) it corrects me and shows me the correct sentence. I can already sense the improvement I am making. The AI conversation partner is extremely helpful because it feels quite natural and is never busy, asleep or working when I want to converse.

As a language teacher, I find langua far more effective than apps like duolingo, which my husband uses for french. Langua excels in leveraging AI in ways other language learning apps don't. For instance, the option to save words from the conversation as spaced repetition flashcards is so useful. Then there's the grammar practice mode in which you can pick a tense for some targeted practice. These are just 2 examples of what I was looking for that I just couldnt find in the other AI apps I tried. If you're passionate about effective learning, Langua is definitely for you.
