Hi there! My name is Peter , I teach Swedish as a foreign language and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.

I've been giving group lessons and private lessons for more than 9 years , both in real life and online. My students have been from all over the world, ranging from beginners (A1 ) to quite advanced (C1).

I believe in a casual and relaxed teaching environment for you to progress quickly in learning Swedish. I will tailor the lessons according to your preferences and guide you to the online resources you need. If you so desire, I can show you some excellent textbooks and exercise books to work with as well.

"The lesson was very engaging: we read a page from a Swedish book, conversed using numbers (dates, ages, time). We also discussed some grammar – not just for the grammar’s sake, but using the sentences we read. I was pleasantly surprised that I could understand some of the sentences in their entirety – reading and listening to Peter saying them. It is a huge progress for me as I am a complete beginner. Peter is very patient, easy-going, and very positive with his feedback. He also helps (very gently) to correct my pronunciation and to use the correct words in a sentence.
