Learning German can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re preparing for an exam, relocating to Germany or Switzerland, or working towards citizenship or a residence permit.

I’m a native German speaker and qualified coach with over 20 years of teaching experience. After living in the UK for 27 years before returning to Germany, I know first-hand what it’s like to move country, adapt to a different culture and build a new life.

Many of my students are preparing for language exams needed for citizenship, residence permits, work opportunities or relocation. Others simply want to feel more confident speaking German in everyday life.

All of my students who have worked towards German certification with me have successfully passed their exams, from A1 to C1.

I create personalised lessons tailored to your goals, learning style and pace. I’m known for making German grammar easier to understand and for creating a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

As a qualified coach, I also help students overcome common obstacles such as speaking anxiety, lack of confidence, motivation issues and feeling stuck at the same level. Learning a language is about more than grammar – it’s also about mindset, consistency and believing you can succeed.

I have experience supporting neurodivergent learners and believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to language learning.
