👩🏻‍🏫 Hi, future student!

I’m Paula, a linguist and experienced Spanish & Catalan teacher from Barcelona 🇪🇸.

✨ Degree in Linguistics with a specialization in Spanish + Certified Spanish Teacher for Foreigners (ELE) by the University of Barcelona.

✨ 12 years of teaching experience with private students and groups, both online and in-person, working with children and adults from all over the world.

✨ I also teach Catalan! 🏴

Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to your level, goals, interests and learning preferences.

We’ll usually start every lesson by talking and getting into a real conversation. This allows me to understand your current level, identify the areas you need to improve and, most importantly, get you speaking Spanish from the very beginning.

As we talk, I’ll introduce new vocabulary, correct mistakes and explain grammar naturally when it comes up. I’ll also prepare exercises and activities based on what you need to work on, so we can practise grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking skills in a practical way. During our lesson,  I'll use an interactive whiteboard, where I write down new vocabulary, corrections and useful expressions. After each class, you’ll receive your notes as a PDF, so you can review everything whenever you want. 

Some students prefer to focus more on conversation, while others enjoy working more deeply on grammar and structured exercises. We can find the balance that works best for you. My goal is to create lessons that are useful, dynamic and enjoyable, where you can improve your Spanish while actually using it.
