Hello and nice to meet you!

I'm Tatiana, a native Russian, proficient English and advanced French speaker and a professional tutor of languages, certified in Russia (diplomas from Krasnodar and Moscow universities) and internationally (Delta module 1 and TKT).

You are welcome to my classes if you:

• want to learn one of the 6 official UN languages, that is Russian;
• need some help with Cyrillic script and handwriting;
• want to achieve accuracy in Russian grammar and vocabulary;
• would like to understand Russian speech, songs and videos;
• dream of reading Russian fiction in the original;
• need some conversation practice in Russian;
• have already been doing a course in Russian and are struggling with it;
• are going to or already have some business contacts with Russians;
• are interested in Russian culture or history;
• would like to travel to Russia;
• enjoy training your brain and having new challenges which the process of learning a new language is full of;
• or maybe you'd just like to discuss the purpose of life, Dostoevsky-style? You're also welcome, as I’m a certified psychologist, too.

A few words about me. I was born and brought up in Krasnodar, Russia. Remember Sochi 2014 Olympics? That’s Krasnodar region, right.
I fell in love with languages since childhood and decided to become a teacher while still in my first year at primary school. I first started tutoring when I was 15, for the neighbors’ daughter who needed help with her English homework.
That determined the choice of my major at university. I graduated as a philologist and a teacher of English and French and went on to take CAE and CPE and later teaching qualification exams (TKT and DELTA) from Cambridge. I finally officially qualified as a tutor of Russian this year, 2022.
I have been teaching 1-to-1 classes offline since 1998 and online since 2017. Despite my qualifications, I’m first of all a practitioner and I build my teaching around your needs and goals.
I’m a terrible dancer, but a lesson for me is a tango round, where you lead the way to where you want to come and I follow you, making the way bright and enjoyable.
Teaching languages is my lifelong passion and I’ll be delighted to share it with you!
