Hey there! I'm Michelle, a qualified coach from South Africa!
✅If you want to pass the IELTS exam (speaking and writing) or a job interview, or want to become for fluent and confident in conversations, I can help!
✅IELTS preparation (speaking and writing): I have helped many people pass the exam! I work with almost every topic, so you can be prepare for any surprise topic that may be in the exam. We will focus on the most important topics, strategies and tools that will help you to pass, even if your English skills are not perfect, using my signature program!
✅Conversations: Classes with me are filled with a variety of topics, no lesson is the same! We will not do boring grammar and vocabulary exercises, but learn to have a conversation by practicing your speaking skills, and learning the grammar and vocabulary mistakes and corrections as you go. Students have so much fun in the class, it would be like speaking to a friend!
✅Job interviews: I have also helped a countless number of people with job applications and interview preparation, and to successfully get jobs. We will practice the most common questions and answers, and I will give you feedback on areas of improvement, and areas where you do well. By the end of our time together, you will be ready to ace that job interview!

I have been teaching online for 2 years now. I completed an Advanced TEFL Diploma, with specialisations in Business English, IELTS coaching, and Teaching Other Subjects in English (such as Science, Geography and History).
I have over 2000 hours of English teaching experience.
I also have a Marketing Management qualification, and I have trained many staff in sales and customer service.
I have a ton of patience so I can work with students at any level. I love making real connections with my students, so we can talk about just about any topic!

I had a wonderful time talking with Michelle. I often paused to find the right words, and she waited for me patiently. She really listened to me carefully and offered valuable advice. Even without a specific topic, our conversations were always enjoyable. She guided the conversation smoothly and asked interesting questions that encouraged me to speak more. Compared to my first session, I felt much more confident, and the time it took me to form sentences decreased. The more I tried to speak, the more my skills improved!

Michelle is a kind, polite and respectful person, and an amazing teacher. I have been learning English with her since the beginning of March. We have focused on Writing and Speaking as I needed to improve my IELTS band score. In the previous exam, I got a 6 in Speaking and a 5 in Writing. After 4 months with Michelle, I rose my scores to 6.5 in both Writing and Speaking. I need to highlight that, even at work, my colleagues and my leader noted these massive changes in terms of a broader and richer vocabulary and a much better way of communicating. She provides tons of supportive material, and she is able to guide you toward your learning goals. I proudly recommend her.
