¡Hola,soy Marlene! 😃I live in Puebla City, one of the main cities in Mexico. I studied architecture and music. As a Spanish tutor, I have taught over three years to people from all over the world.
Have you ever had or overheard a conversation where you couldn't understand anything because it's not what you've learned in books? Don't worry, in our classes we will learn how we really speak in everyday situations 😉.
I consider myself a very patient and dynamic person, so the classes with you will be personalized according to your needs and interests. I will help you with grammar, pronunciation, Mexican slang, or just have a very pleasant conversation. Conversation is the most important activity when learning a language; that's why from the very first class, we will be speaking Spanish.

Tengo 72 años, soy rumano, ingeniero — y Marlene es la clase de maestra que uno espera encontrar. Desde las primeras clases convirtió mis intereses en la lección misma: recorrimos mi álbum de fotos de Bucarest con su ojo de arquitecta, jugamos al mercado con vocabulario mexicano, e intercambiamos música de nuestros dos países. Y luego me sorprendió por completo: construyó una página web bilingüe español-rumano sobre el mercado mexicano — solo para mí, con la mano vendada después de un accidente, sin decir una palabra durante la clase. Paciente, cálida, infinitamente creativa y genuinamente curiosa por el mundo de su estudiante. De cada clase salgo con palabras nuevas, una historia nueva y una sonrisa. ¡Gracias, maestra! La recomiendo con todo el corazón.
