¡Hola,soy Marlene! 😃I live in Puebla City, one of the main cities in Mexico. I studied architecture and music. As a Spanish tutor, I have taught over three years to people from all over the world.
Have you ever had or overheard a conversation where you couldn't understand anything because it's not what you've learned in books? Don't worry, in our classes we will learn how we really speak in everyday situations 😉.
I consider myself a very patient and dynamic person, so the classes with you will be personalized according to your needs and interests. I will help you with grammar, pronunciation, Mexican slang, or just have a very pleasant conversation. Conversation is the most important activity when learning a language; that's why from the very first class, we will be speaking Spanish.

I have enjoyed taking classes with Marlene. I can only take weekly classes, but I can tell I am getting better. She is very good at what she does. Ideally I would like to take 2-3 per week. Thank you Marlene!

My daughter is a 3rd grade DLI student and she absolutely loves taking lessons with Marlene. We receive small home work, that helps prepare for an engaging lesson. The lessons are very variable sometimes it’s a story, sometimes watching a movie, sometimes it is an art activity. Which keeps our daughter thrilled for what will be next.
