Learning German with Hilda has been an absolute joy! She is not only incredibly helpful but also has a warm and approachable teaching style that makes every lesson feel tailored just for me. Her accent is crystal clear and easy to understand, which is such a relief when diving into a new language. One of the things I appreciate most is how easy she is to communicate with. Hilda always ensures that I feel comfortable asking questions and is incredibly patient in explaining even the trickiest grammar rules. What really sets her apart, though, is her dedication outside of class—she’s always available to answer my questions while I’m studying on my own, making the learning process so much smoother. Hilda helped me to rediscover the joy of learning German. Prior to Hilda, I had had months of online group lessons with various teachers, yet being an introvert, I often had struggles speaking up in such group environments and improving - and I was nearly giving up learning German. Hilda helped me feel at ease with my effort to overcome my "block," with her artful balance of humor, lightheartedness, compassion, rigor, structure, vast knowledge on the language instruction, and sensibility to discern where I struggle. I come out of every lesson with laughter and positive feelings about life, and I am grateful that I was able to find her.
