✨About me

I consider myself to be a very patience, disciplined, kind and creative person.

I am passionate about history, pastries, literature, linguistics, animals ( 100% dog lover! 🐕) and, of course, languages. So if you are interested in any of those topics we’ll make a good match :]

And if you don’t, that’s ok! I find very nourishing learning about topics outside my comfort zone.

I speak Spanish since i am a native speaker from Peru, with a neutral accent. I do speak English fluently, German and a bit of Japanese also.

✨ Methodology

I use a methodology based on research and methods proven by psychologists and teachers. My classes are ALWAYS prepared and structured to meet your needs. The methodologies i use are:

1️⃣ TPRS  (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) and comprehensible input -> For learning grammar and vocabulary in a engaging, stress-free way!

2️⃣ Breaking down your favorite songs, stories and articles -> To practice reading, vocab and pronunciation!

3️⃣ Direct method (speaking only in Spanish for intermediate or advanced students) -> To strengthen your speaking and listening abilities

ALSO, i always explain grammar step by step and provide flashcards to remember vocabulary (based on the science proved method “Spaced repetition”).

I provide each of my students a personalized plan and homework based on their goals, needs and way of learning.

✨ Teaching Philosophy

I do believe that the ability we have for learning is truly a gift, as i said in the video “The ability to learn is a seed that, with love and  discipline, can grow into a beautiful flower or a juicy fruit”. As a tutor, my goal is to give you the best education possible so you can see progress and value the time and effort you are putting into the language.
