I am learning a lot from Alexis, and I feel very comfortable making mistakes during class. My brain is being stretched! Duolingo was a great start, but private classes are doing so much more.

Alexis is knowledgeable, interesting, organized and super sharp. He is presenting things to me in a way that I understand, and is able to challenge me without overloading me, so I feel confident. He's also super professional-- I feel like I have an actual *teacher* working with me. If you want someone who will have an intellectually grounded, focused and thoughtful orientation to your language learning, Alexis is your guy.
