I study Japanese full time at the university, but I wanted to take on more hours to actively practice Japanese and Ayumi skillfully accommodated my level and needs. I intend to continue practicing with Ayumi. I can only recommend her to anyone at any level, as she is reliable, kind, fun and knowledgeable as well. :)

Always an enjoyable and learning experience with Ayumi. Ayumi sensei is wonderfully patient and allows you space to think and push through with your japanese....helping along the way. Ayumi was also very accomodating when an electrical storm and blackout terminated a class at my end - rescheduling the class without question.

Ayumi is a terrific tutor. Super patient and very good at explaining in steady, clear Japanese. Really enjoying the classes and can feel the cobwebs loosening. Thanks Ayumi sensei!
