Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Reiko. I am from Osaka, Japan. Yes, Osaka! It's a fun and entertaining place to visit!
I graduated from a university in Kyoto and got qualified to teach elementary students in Japan.
I have been living in Canada for about 20 years. I homeschool all my kids and have been teaching the Japanese language online to students.
My students are from 6years old to adults (50s) right now.
I use 'Genki' for teens and older students, and 'Japanese for young people' for younger children, and I use other materials for addition.
Any textbooks are always welcome. I can teach with the materials that suit you.
Do you want to learn from Anime? Do you just want to speak in Japanese?
I am so excited to teach each student. I can learn through teaching students, too.
Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Reiko is an excellent Japanese tutor who has helped me and my wife improve our language skills in a fun and engaging way. She is very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and she always tailors the lessons to our needs and interests. We highly recommend Reiko to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.

Reiko is very patient, and she encourages me to keep practicing my speaking. She is specific and helpful with her feedback. The Japanese textbook that we use (Genki) has excellent exercises for practicing writing, reading, and kanji.

Reiko has been great at communicating through email, and she has been helping me to assess where my correct level is, since I haven't practiced my Japanese much in the last few years. She encourages me to speak a lot in the lesson and helps me to find the correct words.

Reiko is understanding and exceeding patient. She effective and efficiently tutors my 9 year old son and puts up with his gaming vocabulary which is admittedly hard for me to figure out in English. She helps my son write his ideas in kanji and hiragana and corrects them online which means she can read his handwriting-far better than me.
