Hi everyone! I’m Anna, an online Italian teacher specialised in Italian language and culture for foreign students. With over 15 years of experience teaching learners of all levels, I help students develop an authentic, confident and natural Italian.

I am bilingual in Italian and English, with a five-year degree in English Language and Literature and an ITALS Master’s degree (completed with top marks). My background also includes a specialisation in neurolinguistics and psycholinguistics, which shapes my teaching method and allows me to create personalised, effective learning paths based on how the brain acquires languages.

My teaching approach

In my lessons, I combine method, creativity and student-centred learning. I design activities using:

• cognitive and learning strategies
• real communication
• cultural competence

This way, every student stays motivated, involved and aware of their own progress while learning Italian. My goal is to help you communicate in Italian naturally, confidently and with pleasure, discovering not just a language, but an entire culture.

A bit about me

When I’m not teaching, I love travelling. I lived in London and later in Liverpool while writing my dissertation. I also speak Spanish, so I know very well what it means to learn a new language from scratch.
