My classes are for teens (15+) and adults.

If you’d like to receive kind and professional feedback on your Spanish, Mauro is the tutor for you. It’s very easy to converse with Mauro because he is a great listener and anticipates your needs, quickly pulling from the various resources he has on hand to enrich the conversation. Every lesson I’ve had with him, there is a short piece of literature that we will read to serve as a talking point for the lesson. The resources are relevant and appropriate for my skill level, and only a good tutor like Mauro can tailor that. Even more, he is knowledgeable and passionate about grammar and linguistics, so I feel confident asking him questions and practicing the conjugations with which I’m uncomfortable. I highly recommend Mauro!

A really patient and great tutor. Learning a language can often be awkward and out of your comfort zone but he immediately put me at ease and made me feel confident to try new sentences, even when I might get it wrong. He always takes the time to explain things multiple ways if you are having trouble understanding something and never becomes impatient. He brings new activities to each lesson, including a new grammar lesson and vocab words for me to memorize. Definitely try a lesson with him - you won't regret it!!
