Bonjour a tous!!
Are you planning to move to a French-speaking country? Do you want to improve your language skills? Do you wish to embrace a new culture? I am here to help you, from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the world!
My name is Alizee, I am from Bretagne, France, the land of butter and cider!
I have been a language teacher since 2014. I graduated from the University of Oregon in the US with a Master of arts (French culture and Literature) and then I got a bachelor of Teaching French as a 2nd language from the University of Nantes, France. I started teaching at the University of Oregon as a GTF and it helped me find my path, teaching became a part of my identity and I really found myself thanks to this experience. Afterwards, I started to travel around south east Asia and moved to Vietnam and started teaching English to Vietnamese students. I started teaching French online when I moved to the Philippines in 2019, and have continued since in several countries such as Canada and France.
I provide personalized online classes, based on your level (from A1 to C2), your goals and your interests. Each class will include grammatical introductions/reminders, listening comprehension but most of all speaking practice. If you are planning to take the DELF exam, I can also help! Homework will be provided outside of class to not waste time during the lesson. From daily life situations, to current events and news, we will have a wide range of different topics.
A bientot!
Alizee

This was my fourth lesson, and OTOH, I feel silly leaving yet another review, but OTOH, Alizee deserves excellent reviews, so here I am. Here's why I decided a tutor is necessary: I plan to spend extensive time in France, and while I can think and write in French more competently, getting those words and phrases out of my head, speaking in normal, spontaneous conversation is a whole other thing. Four lessons in, and I know the decision to work with a tutor is the right one. Here's why I think Alizee is an excellent choice: She has the experience and knowledge to plan and teach, but her good humor and relaxed style make it as non-intimidating as it can be. Fear is the enemy of language acquisition and conversation, and it's key to find someone who makes learning fun and interesting. Alizee does that.

Alizee is a really good teacher. I have improved my French and confidence to speak French at work. Rosalie Blythe

It's so much fun! The time really goes quickly - there are too many things to discuss. I've only had two lessons, but even if I'm not making any real progress yet, I feel a little more confident already. I would highly recommend studying with a tutor. It's def a way to up the game (although Alizee may not agree that my game is that up! :) and I would even more highly recommend Alizee for the process. Mille mercis, Alizee!

Great lessons with Alizee. She was able to help me prepare for my OPI exam. She is flexible in adjusting to student's needs and targeting areas of improvement.
