Hi, I'm Helí. Certified Native Spanish Teacher and DELE with 9 years of experience.
As a teacher, I use a communicative method that aims to learn a second language through real-life examples to be able to communicate in everyday situations. My classes are fun and effective. With me, you will learn grammar, vocabulary, culture, and we will focus on conversation. If you are a beginner, we can create a plan with the basic topics of Spanish so that you can start learning this wonderful language.

Having worked with Helí now for 7 weeks - I can say I really appreciate how he shows up - we get to work on different aspects of my language acquisition each time, even while reviewing work done between our sessions. He explains when and why I've said things in ways that a native Spaniard wouldn't - so I can intellectually understand, but also never makes me feel like I'm being corrected. When I bring questions he always answers like it's exactly the right question to be asking at that moment. I value my time with him, and I feel like my Spanish is improving!

Excellent lesson again. He really makes you work hard ! I really appreciate that he always corrects my pronunciation where needed and there is so much conversation practice.

From our initial "trial session" through our first "actual" session - I've already learned a lot. Ideas I had compiled from previous studies clicked into place with Helí's straightforward and easy-to-recall examples. I love that our conversations are <<en español>> all the time, and there's always a little humor involved. Helí's presence is clearly evident, he pays attention to what you're doing right and what could be tightened up. I'm already looking forward to our weekly sessions and the improvements to my Spanish that are on the horizon!
