CIAO a tutti! Hi everyone! I'm Giuliana, a professional Italian teacher with 16 years of experience (10 online).

I was born in sunny southern Italy, and I hold a Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and the DITALS II certification (an advanced qualification for teaching Italian to foreigners).

I have taught in Turkey, Peru, and Togo, to children, university students, migrants, and adults of all ages—and I've personally experienced what it's like to start life in a new country without knowing the language. That's why I truly understand what my students go through, not just linguistically but on a human level.

I place great importance on building a solid grammatical foundation, but culture, traditions, and the Italian way of life matter just as much to me—and above all, practical conversation. My goal is to help you COMMUNICATE with confidence in real-life situations you'll encounter in Italy: at the market, at the bank, with neighbors, or over coffee with new friends. I especially love working with students who want to reconnect with their Italian roots, prepare for the B1 citizenship exam, or build a deeper connection with Italy — whether they're planning to relocate or buy a home there.

I'm a warm and patient teacher: my students often tell me they never feel pressure during lessons. I've met some of them in person in Italy, and others have even hosted me in their homes, in their own countries—that's the kind of connection that grows when lessons become more than just grammar.
