Hello! I’m Kalliope, from Greece. The first Greek TPRS tutor on the platform. My passion is learning languages and traveling!

I attend webinars in order to expand my teaching knowledge and methods which I present below. This is my biggest love and I want to share it with you.

1.  GAMES TO GET YOU SPEAKING

hangman, anagrams, storytelling through picture prompts, puzzle, odd one out, taboo, I spy, pictionary, pelmanism, brainstorming, role playing, picture describing, find the differences, problem solving tasks, debates, opinions, my treasured possession and many more.

       2. TPRS lessons!

This is the BEST method to learn any language. We don't learn the language through boring grammar points and huge lists of vocabulary, we acquire the language. We will create stories through pictures and interactive "board" games using the interactive whiteboard. You will be able to SPEAK and UNDERSTAND Greek even if you have zero knowledge.       3. VIDEO LESSONS

We can learn by watching videos about ordering food, booking a room etc. Then we go through the dialogue and learn the vocabulary and the grammar of each video. We practice through interactive activities and role playing.

       4. TEXTBOOKS.

I have many textbooks that we can work with. I even have the official textbook for the Greek language's examination if you're interested in that or textbook for tourism / daily life topics.

- HOMEWORK

If you enjoy working on your skills outside of the classroom, I can assign homework for you to complete. It varies from games to actual exercises depending on which plan you choose.

-OTHER IDEAS.

We can learn through music, movies, reading the news or just have conversation practice.
