I’m Yousra, a French tutor with over 4 years of experience teaching online. 😊
Did you know I’ve been practicing French for 20 years? It’s because I completed my entire academic and university career in French, and I also use it daily at work! 🎓
I’m here to help you learn French by clarifying your learning needs and setting short- and long-term goals tailored just for you.
I will provide personalized lessons based on your specific needs and interests, whether you want to improve your communication, pronunciation, writing skills, or more. And if you're a beginner, I want to let you know that I use a practical French book from a reputable publishing house specializing in French as a foreign language. This book is designed to help you build a strong foundation in French, and it features 9 comprehensive units that cover the essentials of the language.
And to keep our lessons dynamic and engaging, we’ll use a variety of materials, including texts, articles, videos, audio recordings, and more. I can also assign exercises to help you consolidate your learning between lessons.

Yousra is a friendly teacher. My focus for the lessons was conversation, and she successfully facilitated this. Prior to the lesson, I received a text and a podcast , which enabled me to prepare vocabulary for the forthcoming lesson.

From the very first lesson, Yousra created a welcoming environment where I felt safe to practice and make mistakes. Her ability to connect with students makes learning enjoyable and accessible. She skillfully navigates through my blocks, helping me develop new pathways to engage with the language more comfortably. What I appreciate most is how our sessions provide a positive experiential context, allowing me to better remember new vocabulary and concepts and the confidence to seek out new opportunities to build on those experiences. I am making good progress working on my difficulty with spontaneous conversation with Yousra. She has been flexible, patient, and always very positive which has helped me to relax about making lots of mistakes. Being able to relax about making mistakes is, I believe, an essential step to my progress.
