I have about 800 lessons of experience teaching online with students in various countries as Japanese tutor. I am certified by The World Japanese Language Centre for the 420 hour Advanced Japanese Teacher Training Course. Because of my experience and good knowledge of Japanese business environment, I know how to communicate with Japanese people in the business scene and how to respond. I also teach children from very young age. I customize lessons depending on the student and their aim, goals and personality etc. I was born in Japan and raised in Tokyo. I experienced living in Kyushuu, and Okayama, too, as my father moved there to work. Every time I made friends, I had to say ''Kon-nichiwa'' and ''Sayoonara''. A bit sad but it was great to see new friends. I live in the UK now. As I mentioned, I am teaching Japanese after my work experience of Japanese companies. It has been a great experience working there with great people. This helps a lot to teach my students who are thinking to live in Japan and work for Japanese companies.

Yuko sensei explains difficult grammar in a well-structured and interesting way! During the class I felt like it was a game! (Exercises on the choice of the verbal forms, for example). Thanks so much 🙏

I’m really impressed with the structure Yuko sensei applies to teach this huge part of grammar reading the verbs, in particular regarding the changes of vowels in the roots of some verbs. I used to try to memorise these changes by heart, but thanks to Yuko sensei’s explanations I’m staring to see the logic behind these changes what makes memorisation way easier! Looking forward to our next class 🙏
