Hello, I'm Edite and I am Portuguese.

I’m an expert in diction and pronunciation.

My goal is to help build trust in people who want to learn Portuguese. My experience as a teacher has already allowed me to connect with students from all continents. This is a unique capital of knowledge and culture. Understanding people and their needs are fundamental to the teaching process.

I have a degree in social communication and a post-graduation in the same area. I’m also a graduated artist with a special taste for collage and digital art.

I have been working in communication, consulting and training for over 30 years. I worked with the Portuguese government and other higher organs of sovereignty for many years. My experience gives me excellent business knowledge of trades.

I also have experience as a trainer in Portuguese. I was a trainer in communication, media training and ethics and compliance. I’m versatile, proactive, creative, calm, and easy to get along with.

I love to know people, other contexts and countries and I’m especially suited to teach adults at levels A2 and B1 and B2.

My performance as a teacher

I am an expert in diction, communication, how to speak well in public and also in media training. I adapt to the student’s interests, creating, in collaboration with them, an environment favourable to study and motivation for learning.  I also design a study plan appropriate to the intended objectives.

My classes and teaching style

I like to contextualize the examples using materials that I develop according to the student’s needs: Yes! I do many times customized exercises to match the needs of the student.

I use images, audio, videos, PPT presentations, books, etc. I can help you develop orality;  grammar; writing - pronunciation, diction, comprehension of texts and audio - and any other difficulty according to the need identified
