Hi! I'm David from Glasgow, Scotland, UK. I'm a professional teacher with a TESOL qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. I currently live in Mexico City.
Experience
I have worked as a professional teacher for over 7 years. I worked in a middle school for 4 years and have now worked as an online teacher for over 3 years, where I have taught over 3000 classes to students of various English levels and cultural backgrounds. Throughout my years of teaching, I have given classes on grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing, exam preparation and Business English.
My teaching style
Learning a new language should be a fun experience and that's why my classes are always dynamic and interesting! I believe I have a very friendly, conversational teaching style and I aim to make my students feel relaxed and supported. During our first class, I will try to understand your requirements and design our future lessons to meet your needs. Whether your focus is on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, exam preparation or Business English, I will use materials and resources (articles, videos, exercises) that are relevant to you. It is also important to me that classes focus on speaking while also having a clear objective and goal.
About me
My hobbies include playing sports (kickboxing, football, cycling), traveling, photography, going to concerts, visiting museums and watching movies. I also love languages and have been learning Spanish for over 8 years.
