My teaching approach relies on practice and immersion in the language, through conversation and consumption of multiple medias (music, movies, books).
My main focus is making my students able to communicate and interact as soon as possible, so that they can enjoy their language-learning journey instead of just studying and waiting for a long time before they can actually use what they learned.
During our encounters we will talk, write and practice, intertwining the formal learning of grammar and vocabulary with the more entertaining usage of each skill you will acquire.
No matter the level you begin with, from first basic interactions to formal high-level discussions, we can work together to improve your skills and proficiency.
I am skilled and professional, but also flexible and easy-going.
My interests are mainly of the nerd-ish persuasion, such as fantasy and sci-fi novels, movies and series, boardgames, RPGs and suchlike.
I love learning new things and discovering old classics with my friends and my students, and this is mainly why I got my degree in philosophy and studied many different topics on my own.

For anyone struggling to learn Italian and looking for the perfect teacher, Michela should be your first call! She has both great patience and the ability to convey (difficult) Italian grammatical information in a way that enables her students to easily comprehend and absorb complicated structures, thus opening the way to the use of the wonderful Italian language... As always Michela was very patient and understanding. Lessons are a great mix of exercises and general conversations in italian.
