Greek language teacher with MA in Linguistics
My name is Marina, and I am an enthusiastic Greek language teacher! I have graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the University of Athens (Greece), and I hold a MA in Linguistics. I have successfully completed many programmes, seminars and workshops concerning Greek as a second/foreign language as well as editing/correcting texts.
I have been teaching Greek online for many years, while at the same time I work as an editor/corrector of magazines and books for a Greek publisher. In the past, I have also worked voluntarily as a Greek language teacher for adult immigrants.

Really great lesson today - as always. Marina’s style of teaching is extremely helpful. In particular, her quick expression in writing, of the words we are discussing at the time, is remarkable and helps immensely in understanding the finer aspects of the language being learnt.

Marina is the best language teacher I've ever had, and I should know what I'm talking about. She's the 12th teacher I've had over 5 different languages. Her postgraduate education in linguistics shows. In my lessons with her, she combines a great responsiveness to my specific needs and interests with a systematic approach to unpacking the grammar in a meaningful and fun context. When realized I was interested in music, she provided multiple song and video links, lyrics sheets and exercises. The lessons are engaging and include conversations in Greek about interesting topics. I wish that all the world's language teachers approached second language acquisition scientifically the way she does. Strongly recommend!
